How to roll your dice
- Enter a whole number of sides from 1 to 1,000,000,000. The default is 6.
- Enter how many dice to roll, between 1 and 100.
- Press “Roll dice” to see individual values and their sum.
Example: for a 2D6 roll, enter 6 sides and a quantity of 2. You could roll 4 and 2, for a total of 6.
How randomness works
A D20 produces integers from 1 to 20, including both bounds. Each die is generated independently: rolling again does not change the odds of the next roll. For example, three six-sided dice can total between 3 and 18, but those sums do not have equal probabilities.
We use Web Crypto with rejection sampling to avoid bias. Entries and results stay on this page: they are not saved or uploaded and disappear when you reload. For games and everyday decisions, without betting or real money.
